Please be advised that effective March 19, 2020, the Queens EOC was affected by changes in New York State and New York City regarding the Coronavirus COVID-19 threat.

At this time, the EOC building is closed with only essential personnel working on stand-by and all other faculty and staff are working remotely. Classes are still being held, however they have all been moved to online (distance learning).

  • Distance Learning classes are being held by your Instructors online for every EOC program for the remainder of the spring semester.
  • The Spring Recess is unchanged in our Academic Calendar and will occur from April 8 through April 16. There will be no distance learning classes during the recess.
  • The Queens EOC is sending updates to students via email addresses on file. If you need to update your contact information, please email info@queens.eoc.suny.edu
  • We are using School Messenger to contact students with updates concerning classes and how to connect with your Instructors. If you receive a text from us, please call us back at 716-261-9762
  • If you are in need of any assistance, please call us so we can help you. Please use the listing of telephone numbers in the Student Support Services area below (after Academic Affairs) to reach your Advisor.

Faculty has transitioned courses into distance learning (online) classes and course work to continue the classwork that had been occurring at the EOC before this shift.

Programs that involved clinical classes or specific state certification requirements that must be delivered in person have been postponed. These programs include:

Academic classes are being held in a number of online formats that require the Instructor to place you into your class. Your Instructors are reaching out to you by email and by telephone to encourage your participation. Please look for this information in your email or return any calls from your Instructors who also have your telephone numbers from our information on file.

All of your Instructors are also available to you by telephone and by email. Please check your email regularly since information from them and/or your Advisors should be there for you.

If you are having difficulty reaching your Instructor or have not received an email, please call 716-259-1965 and leave a message that includes 1) your name; 2) your program; and 3) the name of the Instructor you want to speak to.
